I, Michael Stokes, wrote a story for graduating seniors in 2015 that included JD and was even inspired by JD, He had been in a Bible study group called Sons of Faith I taught a couple of years earlier. One of our studies was on King David and the trials he encountered yet God called him "a man after my own heart." In my story for graduates I included a quote I heard JD make on the radio concerning our high school baseball team of which he was an integral part. They had completed a round of competition and were moving on to the next round. In the interview he said "we are still writing our own story." Yes, win or lose, success or failure, we are still writing our own stories. Now what is your story going to be...

I love attending bible studies. Aside that I am getting a lot of knowledge about my Lord, my brothers and sisters are all nice and I just love their company. If I have a problem, I would go to their cell and they would give me hug, an advice and the best that they could offer me, Jesus Christ. Through them, I was lead to know my Lord and accepted Him as my Lord and Savior. If I am your mom, I will be proud of you. I am also a graduating student and I am feeling the tensions so much. My parents were expecting that I would graduate on time but what if I'm not? Will they be disappointed? Will they get angry? Will they hate me? I am not sure of what's about to come for tomorrow. But what I am sure is that, I am ready to face whatever it is because I have faith that everything's gonna be fine and that I will be able to reach my goals. Leave a Reply. |
