"Train up a child in the way he should go. Even when he is old he will not depart from it." Proverbs 22:6 ~ I will ask again, isn't it amazing how our God works? Today is fun day at the baseball field. David has enjoyed 6 years of fun days with J.d. Paul. He is making his way out to the field slowly today, as I'm sure you can imagine why. Those of you who know our story know that JD left for his Eternal home the day before Father's Day last year. A few days before, JD asked me if I had a picture of him and his daddy hugging after his last high school baseball game. I was saddened that I did not. He wanted to post that picture on Instagram for his daddy on Father's Day. JD never got the chance to post anything for his daddy. He and his daddy had some rough times throughout JD's life, because his daddy disciplined and trained him to seek God always. Now, like us, JD didn't always seek God first, but he did believe that God is real, and God had him in any situation he encountered on this Earth. For that I thank his daddy. David followed God's word and trained our children in the way they should go. Because of this training, JD is living with our Heavenly Father. And because Tiffany Roland Poppell was able to show Jesus' love to me this morning, JD now has one of his last Earthly requests. "Happy Father's Day, daddy... I love you. From JD."
"Jesus loves the little children of the world." This teacher does too. We all do. No matter how frustrated we get, we love them. We love them whether they are in our class or not. Thank you Ellie Grace for loving me, because I love you too.
