We cannot thank our church, our community, our family and our friends enough for the love you have shown to us during our loss of JD. We are comforted everyday by someone listening to God's still, soft voice and reaching out to us in some way, and no way is too small. Every act of kindness is received as a gift from our Father, through your faithfulness to Him. Today we were given this Bible in memory of JD. Our church has them in the pews. It makes our burden a little lighter knowing that his name will live on in his church. Acts 19:11 "God works miracles through His disciple Paul." We are all His disciples, and you, our church, community, family and friends continue to glorify His name. Thank God for all of you.

Romans 12:6-8 "Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them." Hannah, you use your gift of serving to witness to others. I am so proud of you for speaking to MPMS's FCA yesterday. Again, you nailed it! I love you to the moon.
"Blessed husband, love of my life; thank you for always taking care of your wife." & our kids....
![]() This picture brings life to Psalm 147:3 "He heals the broken-hearted and binds up their wounds." Yesterday our Sunday School lesson was from the first book of Genesis. We all know the story of creation. Have you ever REALLY thought about how God took something that was shapeless, empty, and void and turned it into our beautiful world? Although, sometimes the struggles we face don't seem so "beautiful" God can take those pieces and put them back together; dispelling the chaos and brokenness that His people feel. The simple thing that we have to do is trust Him. This brings the question to my mind. Why do we not trust him? Are we afraid to give up a sin that may be keeping us from Him? It's almost as if we are saying, God you can handle this, but let me keep just this one little thing for myself. If our child were hurting himself or herself wouldn't we want to take EVERYTHING from them that was causing them pain? That's how God is. He wants us to give Him our all. It's very hard to do. Looking back on this picture this morning I realized that @hannah_grace19 and @_instaagraham could not have put these words back together without every piece they had torn apart. And then it made even more sense to me. Isn't it wonderful how God places small signs in our lives to get our attention? Give God your "every piece" and He can heal your broken heart and turn your chaos into order. Thank You God for Your word. Thank You for using my broken pieces to help me draw closer to you. Thank You for my family, my friends and my community that have helped us and continue to help us in our new journey. Thank You for the last 10 days of JD's life and the chance he had to get all his chaos straight with You, his daddy and me. And thank you @jdpaul19 for helping your mama draw closer to our God. I love you to the moon. "This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you." ~John 15:12
Kindness is listed as a fruit of the Spirit in Galatians 5:22. "Christians should show kindness by behaving toward others as God has behaved toward them.” Basically it means “doing thoughtful deeds to others.” These are just some of the words my baby spoke to the FCA club this morning. Hannah Paul you have found your talent. I am so proud of you! I love you to the moon!
After helping to send 24 care packages to college and career students from Calvary Baptist Church tonight. I needed this devotion. I could not express my feelings any better than the words of this devotion. God has "pressed" me by taking JD home to live with Him. It has been through "the east wind" that brings harshness to your life that I have found the "west wind" that brings newness and life. I have been refined to be more fruitful with my walk with God. I see in my everyday walk how His name is being more glorified. Thank You God for giving me 18 years to be JD's mama. Thank you for using him to help me grow closer to you. Thank you for your promise that I will see him again. And thank you JD Paul for being my "east and west wind". I love you to the moon.
Romans 12:6 "Since we have gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, each of us is to exercise them accordingly." We are praying for Seth and all the Yellow Jackets a safe and successful game tonight and season. Glorify His name in all you do!
Romans 10:17 says, "So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ." God blesses us with senses to see, smell, touch, taste, and hear. I've often heard that if someone is not able to use all five senses that one or more of these senses are enhanced. I feel like this is another incredible act provided by God. Since our journey began our Lord has reassured us that through His word we would find peace. Today with the help of some of my friends I was able to pass out these T-shirts that were created using one of JD's last tweets, to many people in our community and those surrounding us. As we have worn these shirts we have been able to witness to others about God's greatness! People have been able to "see" Bible verse Acts 19:11 and have asked what it means. They were able to "hear" the verse "God did extraordinary miracles through Paul." This was a verse that Hannah embraced after her brother's death. People are also able to "see"; "God's got me", and those praying hands; because JD knew that we was a born again child of God. And because of his not being afraid to share this tweet; we "feel" a longing in our hearts to want to be closer to God. We want to "touch" the words that God has written to comfort us during the pleasant times in our lives, as well as, the grief-stricken ones. As a mother, I am again honored that God chose my child to witness to so many. Although I miss him greatly, I tell you again; so you may "see" these words and "hear" them while you read: I will "touch" my child again! God promises us that if we confess with our mouths and believe with our hearts we will be saved. I believe that, do you? Thank you God for every blessing in my life. Thank you for holding my son until I can again. And thank you J.d. Paul for not being afraid to speak for God so that people will "see" and "hear" His word and follow. I love you to the moon!
Missing that sweet face tonight! "God's got you, baby, I love you to the moon.
