![]() This morning, Bowen was driving me to an appointment in Hoboken, GA. The fact that he was with me was a fluke. Not normal. An older lady ran a red light and ran into us at full speed. Bowen saw her just before she hit and swerved right which kept her from hitting the driver side door. After recovering and making sure Bowen and the lady were ok. I went back to the car. I saw a rubber bracelet on the drivers seat. I didn't stop to see what it was. But wondered and thought it was.... Later, when we were cleaning out the car, Connie noticed it too and asked if Bowen had been wearing it. He hadn't. Neither one of us knew it was even in the car. The bracelet was imprinted with the words "God's Got Me"! That bracelet is one many people wear in memory of a young man, J. D. Paul, who died in a tragic car accident last year from Jesup. That was his belief and he had tweeted those words after a previous accident. It has become a "theme" - not only to remember J.D. - but to proclaim God's mercy, His love and His blessings. God certainly had His Hand on us this morning. This could've turned out much worse. "God's Got Me"!

I was deeply moved by your story. I came across your blog page at just about the right time. In my religion, we never say "God Bless You" or "Be Safe" because we choose to believe we are all taken cared of even if we don't mention these phrases. But it wouldn't hurt to always tell ourselves "God's got me". God's got all of us indeed. Thanks for this lovely post.

God's grace is really infinite. No matter what you do, no matter how unworthy you are, but, God will remain loyal and faithful to you. Life is too short, so we need to live life to the fullest and put every trust with our Lord Jesus Christ. Be thankful for what we have right now and be contented. Always put God first in every way that we do. JOY (Jesus, Other, and then You). So happy happy that nothing happens to you. God bless and thank you for sharing.

This should be everybody’s everyday mantra! God’s got me is such a good message to send out to people because there are many people out there who feel lost. There are many people seeking for answers to their problems. There are many people who are in need of God’s love and guidance. They feel as if they are alone in fighting their own battles, but what they don’t realize is God’s got them! God is always by their side supporting them every step of the way. 5/16/2017 06:26:48 pm
We should thank God for all the little things and all the little incidents where He saves us. Even if it is just as little as walking at the right time to avoid someone who is about to annoy us. It's the little things that count. When something bigger arrives, we tend to react differently. Maybe a bigger way of expressing gratitude like paying it forward.

God really works in mysterious ways. We may not know but He is always there with us, guiding us wherever we go. It's so amazing how God do things for us. He will never let us be harmed in any way possible because He loves us so much. And knowing what happened in the car makes me believe in Him more than ever. We may not expect his works but He will always be there for us. God loves us so much and we should love Him too.

I think I would never come back to driving after my car accident. So many people die absurdly.
